CREW Careers: Building Opportunities

CREW-San Antonio, under the auspices of the CREW Foundation and in partnership with Girl's Inc. of San Antonio and the Girls Scouts of Southwest Texas, will present its third "CREW Careers: Building Opportunities" on April 10, 2010. The event will be hosted in cooperation with the Real Estate Finance and Development Program of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and will be held at the UTSA 1604 campus. The program will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

CREW Careers is a career day for San Antonio high school girls focusing on opportunities in commercial real estate. Our goal is to introduce girls to basic concepts of commercial real estate and provide information in an inter-active, hands-on setting about various career possibilities in related fields, such as sales and leasing brokerage, development, engineering, construction, finance/lending, law, title services, appraisal, architecture and interior design. The girls will also receive an introduction to college life from UTSA student assistants, hear a motivational speaker addressing etiquette issues helpful in the pursuit of a career, and receive a tour of an active construction site.
