Committees

Advertising Committee

The Advertising Committee is responsible for raising funds to support our local budget. The committee actively participates in promoting CREW - San Antonio to the commercial real estate industry as a viable advertising medium. Our primary responsibility is securing advertisers for our annual Friends of CREW program. In addition, we assist raising funds for other CREW events such as the Forum and Charity.

Charity Committee

The Charity Committee for CREW - San Antonio is organized for the purpose of supporting funding for Girls, Inc. of San Antonio, the charitable goals of CREW Foundation, and identifying any other charities in the local community that CREW - San Antonio would like to support. The Committee emphasizes much of its efforts on an annual charity event organized to raise funds to support selected charities.

Forum Committee

The Forum is the largest event of the year, wherein the Forum Committee plans every aspect of handling 400+ guests and the panel speakers. Each committee member is assigned to tasks they feel most comfortable with i.e., hotel arrangements, food, sponsorships, obtaining speakers, banners, exhibitors, news/advertising … etc. This is a very exciting and fun event wherein you also get personal exposure to the masses.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for approving new member applications for submission to the Board of Directors, generating ideas for CREW-San Antonio to use to recruit new members and to retain our current membership. The Committee also coordinates the New Member Breakfast held twice a year and organizes the New Member Packets.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for the monthly publication of the CREW Network News. This committee is also responsible for the annual publication of the CREW-San Antonio Member Directory. Our goal and focus is to keep the membership informed and updated on all activities relative to CREW-San Antonio. Committee meetings are held on an “as need” basis.

Programs Committee

The Programs Committee works to develop and deliver monthly programs with an emphasis on current topics and interesting future developments. The committee members brainstorm topics and speakers to result in programs that stimulate, inform and inspire both members and guests. Specific tasks include developing the program idea, gathering information on potential speakers, securing speakers, and providing information on the programs for the CREW-San Antonio Newsletter. Each committee member has the opportunity to suggest program topics, contact potential speakers for the programs, and gain additional visibility by introducing speakers or moderating programs.

CREW Careers

The CREW Careers Committee for CREW - San Antonio is organized for the purpose of supporting The CREW Careers™, Crew San Antonio and Girl's, Inc. of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women) as they reach out to local teenage girls across North America through an interactive program called CREW CareersTM. This program is designed to introduce young women to the career opportunities available in the commercial real estate industry. CREW Careers™ is a program developed by CREW Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CREW Network. The Committee emphasizes much of its efforts on the annual charity event organized to raise funds to support selected charities.
